Our Opunohu plantation is organically farmed and certified each year by the local certification body, BioFetia.

A major player in the revival of the cacao sector in French Polynesia since 2020, the AROA project has given birth to a truly unique, handcrafted chocolate. By mastering every step — from growing cacao to crafting chocolate — we ensure a product of uncompromising quality.

 

Far from the standardized approach of major industrial groups, and to fully preserve the unique flavor of our terroir, we produce raw local chocolate at AROA without any added fats (like cocoa butter), lecithin (stabilizers), or additives — capturing the pure essence of cacao.​​
